Brian recently completed his Master’s of Physical Therapy at Western University in the summer of 2015 and has been practicing since September 2015. Prior to this, Brian graduated from Western University with his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology in 2013.
Brian is excited to be practicing physical therapy in his hometown of Midland and is dedicated to the lifelong learning process. Brian is a certified Level 1 manual therapist, and recently completed the Kinetacore Functional Dry Needling Level 1 course and is now incorporating Dry Needling into daily treatment plans. He plans to further expand his knowledge and clinical skills in the orthopaedic manual therapy levels system, along with completing courses and certifications in acupuncture, Mulligan treatment techniques, Functional Movement screens, and taping among others.
Brian enjoys collaboratively setting treatment goals with clients and developing treatment plans that encourage the client to become an active participant in the rehabilitation process, all while creating a team-like atmosphere with the client and physiotherapist.
Outside of work, Brian enjoys exercising, walking his dogs and playing sports such as ice hockey, ball hockey, baseball, golf, tennis, volleyball and many others. Brian is an ice hockey and ball hockey goaltender and when not playing, he enjoys coaching goaltenders in both ice hockey and ball hockey in the Midland and Penetanguishene area where he grew up playing.
