Christina is one of the newest members of the team at Huronia Physiotherapy and Chiropractic, as of October 2018. Christina studied for two years at Georgian College at the Barrie campus. She recently graduated with honours in April 2018 from their accredited program as an Occupational and Physiotherapy Assistant.
Christina has already acquired experience working in three long-term care facilities, one hospital, and is currently loving her new role at the Huronia Clinic. Her role is to support the physiotherapists in treating clients as needed. Some tasks she is responsible for on a daily basis are teaching strengthening exercises and safe use of gym equipment, applying electrical muscular stimulation, ultrasound, LASER, thermotherapy, cryotherapy, and traction.
On her spare time she enjoys being outdoors for long bike rides on the local trails, hiking, and camping in our provincial parks. When the weather is not permitting, she enjoys staying indoors, reading, and creating oil pastel paintings.
