What does a chiropractor do?
Chiropractors are allied, primary healthcare professionals who focus on the neuromuscularskeletal system. Chiropractors are skilled in providing diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system and joints. Treatment techniques often include manual therapies such as Active Release Technique, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Flexion Distraction, joint adjustments, and more. A treatment plan may also include exercise prescription and modalities such as heat, ice, or electrical therapy. Our chiropractors carefully develop unique treatment plans to best suit the needs of each individual patient.
A chiropractor may provide the primary method of treatment or they may complement therapy provided by other health care professionals.
