Bruce Leadbeater
Kinesiologist
Bruce is a Registered Kinesiologist and member of the Ontario Kinesiology Association. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2021 with a BA Honours Specialization in Kinesiology, and a focus in athletic injuries. He served as the athletic therapist for the national champion varsity lacrosse team in 2019 where he worked alongside physiotherapists at Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic in the treatment and rehabilitation of the athletes and application of preventative measures before, during and after games/practices. Bruce has also provided sideline care at various sporting events across the province.
His primary focus is working with people of all ages and a variety of ailments to promote a healthy active lifestyle through exercise and education. Bruce is experienced in designing individualized exercise programs for both injury rehabilitation and improving physical ability and functionality to meet client goals. He is certified in soft tissue release and will be expanding and furthering his knowledge through continued education.
As a multi-sport athlete, Bruce now enjoys basketball, golf, and sailing, and in his down time provides basketball skills training and off-court physical training to young competitive athletes across Simcoe County.
