Rach has been a dedicated and hardworking Rehabilitation Assistant since she graduated from OTA/PTA at Georgian College with Honors in 2015. Working primarily in the inpatient setting as a float RA, Rach has a diverse set of skills and experience working with many different patient populations and helping them progress through the rehabilitative journey.
Rach is currently a Bachelor of Health Sciences student - 4th year at Thompson Rivers University & University of British Columbia (online correspondence) and working on a Certificate in Mental Health Case Management. She has also taken extra courses in neurodevelopment and rehabilitation (Level 1), oxygen titration and cardio-respiratory rehab, custom bracing and compression fitting and was a lifts and transfers instructor at the hospital.
Rach's community bracing and home healthcare experience come from her previous position as a Home Healthcare Consultant in Collingwood as well as brief experience working in Sports Medicine. She prides herself on being knowledgeable as well as approachable, offering individualized solutions to patient needs and specifications.
