Jason Norman

RMT

Jason is a life-long learner with a strong commitment to health, injury recovery, and pain management. Focusing on rehabilitation, deep tissue techniques, and myofascial release, his goal is to improve daily functioning and the well-being of his clients. A background in paramedics and medical management in hospital, rehabilitation centres, and a chronic pain clinic has showed him the devastating impact of illness, pain, and the toll that day-to-day stress can take on people’s quality of life. As a result, Jason has developed a deep understanding of the impact of illness, pain, and daily stress on individuals’ quality of life, which led him to pursue a holistic approach to health through massage therapy. In addition to his work as a massage therapist, Jason is also a practicing psychotherapist, a role that complements his physical therapy work. By addressing both the mind and body, he offers a comprehensive, client-centered approach that enhances recovery. Currently completing a Master’s degree in Social Work, Jason is expanding his knowledge of the mind-body connection, and looks forward to using this integrated approach to support the patients of Huronia Physiotherapy and Chiropractic in achieving optimal health, healing, and well-being.

Outside of work, Jason enjoys wood working, fixing cars, travelling, hiking, and playing piano. He also enjoys bringing his love of the outdoors to the workplace, as spending time outdoors, walking, hiking, or just taking a moment to breathe in the fresh air, is a wonderful way to reduce stress, relax, and begin the healing journey
