Abhishek Girdhar is a Registered Physiotherapist who holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Kurukshetra University in India and a Master of Physiotherapy, major in neurological Physiotherapy, from Punjabi University also in India. While completing his Masters, Abhishek contributed to research in physiotherapy and has published 2 papers in international journals. Over this time, he also gained 3 years of physiotherapy experience and developed an interest in manual therapy.
In 2015 he immigrated to Canada as a student to pursue an Advanced Diploma in Physical Fitness and Management at Cambrian College in Sudbury, ON. After successfully completing his studies, he took his first step towards his physiotherapy career in Canada by working as a Physiotherapy Assistant, where he enthusiastically learned the Canadian way of practicing physiotherapy. Working as PTA after gaining the experience Ab stepped away from Physiotherapy for a little while to return to profession as Registered Physiotherapist in 2025.
Ab happily lives in nearby community with his Wife Heena and is a proud father to daughter, Rhythm, and when he is not working, he likes to spend time with his family exploring science. He is also an intermediate level chess player who has participated in many chess tournaments in India.
