David LeGallais
Registered Physiotherapist (BSc.’94, BscPT’97)
Dave is a graduate of McGill University and the University of Western Ontario Physical Therapy program. He has been a practicing physiotherapist for 24 years, with 23 years of experience at Huronia Physiotherapy and Chiropractic Clinic. Dave achieved his Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2008 and is a Fellow with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). This accreditation is a result of intensive post-graduate training in advanced diagnostics and manual therapy techniques. Dave is highly skilled in diagnosing and treating complex conditions of the spine and extremities. His primary treatment approaches include hands on manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and acupuncture.
Currently he is working towards certification as a Gunn IMS Practitioner. Gunn IMS is an exclusive dry needling treatment principle specializing in resolving chronic neuropathic pain conditions.
In his spare time, depending on the season, you can find Dave in the hockey arena playing Canada’s game, on Georgian Bay with his family, or out on the local golf course.
