Alicia Rowe
Registered Physiotherapist (MScPT, BA)
Alicia graduated from Laurentian University with a degree in Sport Psychology in 2007, while there, she assisted the cross country running team as a Student Athletic Trainer. She then moved to Kingston to complete her Masters in Physical Therapy in 2009. Most of Alicia’s career was spent building a multitude of skill in inpatient rehabilitation at GBGH before returning to community physiotherapy. Alicia loves to learn and is dedicated to acquiring new skills that will benefit her clients. She has extensive training in Neurological conditions such as stroke and traumatic brain injury as well as therapeutic taping, acupuncture, vestibular rehabilitation and holistic therapies including being a yoga teacher for both children and adults.
Alicia also facilitates workshops for health care providers through the North Simcoe Muskoka Self Management Team. These workshops help clinicians build positive, successful and rewarding therapeutic relationships with their clients.
In her spare time Alicia enjoys reading, swimming, hiking and spending time with her family.
