Phil Edmunds

Phil graduated Physiotherapy from Western University in 1989 and opened Huronia Physiotherapy and Chiropractic Clinic in 1991, and this has achieved 30 years in business. Throughout his career, Phil has taken the opportunity to expand his skills and qualifications through post-graduate studies. He takes a particular interest in manual therapy and achieved his Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2002. He is registered as a Fellow with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Phil is also certified in acupuncture and dry needling. With over 30 years of experience and numerous advanced skills to offer, Phil is an expert in assessing and treating a multitude of injuries and ailments.
Phil continues to contribute to the physiotherapy profession as an educator associated with Queen’s University. For years he has mentored physiotherapy students and has been recognized by the University for excellence as a clinical instructor.
Outside of the clinic, Phil maintains a balanced lifestyle through fitness, family, fun, and philanthropy- and believes that Georgian Bay is the best place in the world to live.
