Emily Richardson
Registered Physiotherapist (MScPT, BSc Kin)
Emily graduated from Queens University with a Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Kinesiology (Honours) in 2019. After graduating from Queens, she went on to complete her Master’s of Physiotherapy and graduated with distinction from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland in 2021.
Emily takes special interest in paediatric physiotherapy. She has completed post graduate courses in infant development and motor milestones. Through her experiences, Emily is able to provide treatment and strategies that can help promote positive development for babies and children.
She also takes special interest in orthopaedic physiotherapy and sports injuries. Emily is a certified Soft Tissue Release practitioner and plans to further her orthopaedic skills in future courses, such as acupuncture. Emily is able to develop tailored treatment plans for her clients to help them meet their functional or fitness goals.
Prior to Physiotherapy, Emily worked for the Canadian Coast Guard in search and rescue at Brebeuf Island on Georgian Bay and on Lake St. Clair. She has a love for boating and spending time at her cottage on Georgian Bay.
